CHRISTMAS DECORATORS

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

CATS ON TUESDAY

When I had spread the whole Christmas decoration on the floor, Rosie was watching with interest from inside the plastic bag where everything had been. She wasn't so sure to check these strange things immediately. Lisa showed up right away to see if there was something to eat and as to her big disappointment it wasn't the case, she went away bored, to look in the kitchen if she could find something there for her always empty stomac. Kim didn't even throw an eye on it and Pookie didn't find it worthwhile to interrupt her 24h marathon sleep.

But Arthur had to look at what was on the floor there

and finally Rosie had a closer look.

and then they started playing around this plastic bag and had a lot of fun

When the tree finally was up, there was nothing to do, they had to play there and nowhere else ! I already saw my tree falling down in a few minutes !

Especially when Rosie climbed on the little table and sat under the tree.

Arthur found this place very interesting and since this day, he is always sitting there and sneaks out to what is happening in the living room.

This is my final result and is still standing since 3 days ! Hopefully it will remain this way !

After that event, Arthur and Rosie joined Pookie on my bed to have a little well earned nap.

Your Christams Decoration is excellent~!! I like the style you do it~!!!!I don't have big space in my home so I can't put a big Tree. I only have a small tiny tree, hahaha~! I mean really tiny~~

I have a plan: what about a cat christmas tree? Soft so it can be pulled over, and with edible snacks as decorations.... We could be partners and market it through COT...

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

I think Katztales is on to something with the edible tree! My post this week is all about "The Trashing of the Christmas Tree."

If I had a little tree like you it would have been on the floor within about ten minutes. I love Arthur's hideout underneath, very cute.

And the video of Rosie and Arthur with the bag made me laugh out loud! Very funny!

Happy Holidays to you and your family and kitties!

I will not be doing COT next week, as I (with kids, but without kitties) will be sipping a marguerita on a warm beach in Mexico. I'll be back the following week though.

Merry Christmas!

Oh, Gattina, you are ready with your tree! Ok, you had a lot of helping paws....
I love the last photo, all cats in the bad as if nothing happens ;-)

Gattina, wir müssen erst noch einen Baum vom Bauernhof holen.
Das werden wir im Laufe der Woche machen. Bin gespannt, was die Katzen sagen...

Have a nice Tuesday!

I'm surprised that even three days later the tree is still standing. Gretchen took her spot on the tree skirt as soon as I took it out of the box. Mike is on the other side. I put up a much smaller tree this year and Gretchen can't quite figure out why there is more space under the tree.

I'm back to posting on COT...my family's little health problems have evened out a bit, giving me a little more breathing room.

Mike has two adventures to catch up on, however.

heeheehee...I was watching the video and I just knew Rosie was going to ambush Arthur! I'm surprised your Christmas tree is still standing.

I used to have real pine Christmas trees...big ones...and the cats would find it irresistable! Plus all the lovely glittery ornaments. I'd find them on the floor, under the table, out in the hallway, in my bedroom...all over the place, thanks to my cats.

Have a wonderful Christmas, Gattina.

Arthur and Rosie, you did a good job snoopervising the decorating of the Christmas tree. :) I helped out with our tree too - and I like to sit under it. I also try to eat it, even though it's an artificial tree.

Be careful that you don't eat the tinsel! That can be very dangerous if you eat it. Most vets advise not putting tinsel on trees if you have cats or dogs, since it can kill if it's ingested.

Your home looks so festive and lovely...I like your decorating and loved the table cloth that the kitties were playing on and under with the kitten trim! You always have some great cat pieces...

Those with Arthurs little head stuck out and Rosie going right over your table was too funny. Mine haven't played with anything except a tie they found off a plastic bag...I kind of miss all the action.

But one did pee on a present so maybe I shouldn't ask for any more action!

I have a fake Christmas Tree, about 6 feet tall, and fortunately, once my Bambi has finished sniffing and looking at it, she is no longer interested (yet !!!).
Ingrid, I am just dropping by to say HI, and to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
Hoping to be able to drop by more often in the new year.
Take care, hugs, Meow

Gattina, your tree is beautiful! We have a lot of fun with decorating and the cats, too. I love the video of Rosie jumping at Arthur through the plastic bag, such adorable pictures. So far this year, we have not found any cats in our tree but there have been a number of ornaments on the floor! Have a wonderful week!

There is a very cute picture of Rosie that I had to include in my Thursday 13, Dec 20 edition. I hope that is OK :)
